Last month, my wife of 3 1/2 years abandoned me when I was going through a difficult time in my life. Rather than staying by my side and supporting me, she took our two sons and left. Let me be clear - I was 100% faithful, I never raised a hand in anger towards my wife or my children and I don't do drugs.
After taking my boys from me, my wife and her lawyer told me I couldn't
have custody again until I saw a counselor. Wanting nothing more than to
get my boys back, I willingly obliged. Having met with the counselor, I
was then told I would need to see a psychologist before negotiations for
the return of my sons could continue. I was also told I would be required
to waive my privacy rights so my wife could discuss my progress with the
psychologist.
After speaking to my counselor, a psychologist, and a lawyer, they have all stated the same thing:
Your wife has no right to keep your kids from you.
This is quickly becoming something I can't continue to support monetarily.
I'm paying all of the jointly-owned bills with which my wife has left me
while she continues to live at her parents' house, claiming to be solely
financially responsible for the boys. She has, thus far, refused to provide
proof of expenses or receipts.
It's been made very clear to me that my wife has been leading me along, unfairly and unjustly. I let her do this to me in the interest of getting my sons back, but it cannot go on like this. I am now in a position where my only option is legal support. I'm seeking the services of Grossman Law Office at an estimated cost of $3000, which, barring a god-send, is out of my reach at this point.
Yes, I could find a bargain-bin lawyer or someone fresh out of law school
to represent me, but these are my kids. I will
not make any more compromises on their relationship with me.
I have over 1000 followers on Twitter and 400 friends on Facebook. If you could donate just a few dollars, your daily latte, for me, I could have this expense covered and get my boys back in my arms again!
Thank you so much for your time,
Keith
